Welcome to Blue Mountain Elementary West (BMEW)!  Upon entering the doors at BMEW, you will immediately feel our sense of pride and strong belief that all children can achieve great things.  Our staff is dedicated to making sure each child feels safe and welcome each and every day.

Along with academic excellence, BMEW is also committed to the social and emotional needs of our students.  The Eagle Way is our character program that consists of three key characteristics that will be stressed throughout
the year and throughout the district.  The characteristics are
honesty, respect, and responsibility.  As the principal, I will be

taking an active role in reinforcing this code of conduct.  Part of my daily responsibility is to
handle discipline in the school, and therefore, it is my intention to use the characteristics of
“The Eagle Way” as the focal point for these discussions.

Communication is the key to a successful educational experience. Together, we will continue
to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best for the children of BMEW. 
Education is a partnership between the school, students, parents/guardians, and community.
